Editor's review of One Special Edition Library
Have a productive life
Though it's a capable office suite on its own, this program boasts support for the ubiquitous Microsoft Office, resulting in a solution that's both impressive and complicated. EasyOffice features virtually every component an office suite needs, including a word processor, an image browser, a spreadsheet application, a database, a contact manager, an e-mail client, scheduler and calendar, and antiviral protection. Just about the only thing you won't find is a dedicated Web browser. However, since the word
easy prefaces every application name, searching for a specific program can be a frustrating affair. Also, although the interface is highly intuitive, many of its pull-down menus are long and cumbersome. On the bright side, EasyOffice supports several languages and gives you options for compact and custom installations. EasyOffice also adds a rigorous backup system to capture and autosave data at different session points. If you're tired of Microsoft Office but still need compatibility with it, you'd do well to give this suite a shot.

Pros: Many features.
Cons: Nagscreens. Interface and MS Office compatibility are bad. OpenOffice.org is a much better free MS Office replacement.

Pros: As good as the big boys (or should I make that singular ;) but a lot, lot cheaper. Keeps getting better. CRM starting to become apparent. Still waiting for Blackberry connectivity.
Cons: not much; this is a great product

Complexity proves excellence? maybe not.
by: Theo K

Pros: Certainly, it is not an easy job a quick judgement for a multifunctional program and this is exactly the case of "EasyOffice with PDF Filter 9". But we can put some questions from the point of view of a user (especialy if it hapens the user to be a foreign person).
The first remark is that this program suffers from ...complexity. This makes it superior? Not in my opinion. An example: "EasyOffice" contains its own antivirus. Good! But will this be working and update every day, like every good antivirus system that we use for our protection? How good this antivirus could be? How can we trust on it? And finaly, will this antivirus work in parallel with our main antivirus without any conflict? This seems rather not possible.
"EasyOffice" claims to be a multilingual program. But I found in practice that it does not include a syllabification function.
Many functions of the program do not seem to follow a logical indication: How can we apply a vertical ruler? This is very important! Also, how can we determine a permanent styl? It seems that every time we start a new document we have to appoint a new styl again... The zoom function works only in prefixed percenteges...
It will take to long for me to point out very many other remarks for this program. I end with the non functional "help" of the program, for the trial installation of course. But without "help" how can we use and evaluate this program? Everything seems that it is a poor relative of the "Microsoft Office".
Cons: After all these we could estimate that the price is not justified in comparison with other much better office suites. We should not forget the excellent and FREE "602Text" of the "601PC Suite" That includes also very special photo editor and other special functions.
Also we have to consider and the excellent and FREE multilingual text editor "Open Office" which seems to me far better than "EasyOffice" for which we also have to pay quite a lot.

Pros: EasyOffice is my favorite office suite after 3 years. Thanks for continuing to improve. Don't ever stop!!
Cons: Missing a few features MS Office has, but then again, EasyOffice has PDF which MS Office does not.
