NoviiRemote is a program which provides a convenient means of controlling your home entertainment devices, such as TVs, VCRs, satellite and cable boxes, right from your handheld computer. To use NoviiRemote, you must allow the program to 'learn' the infrared signals from the standard remote controls you use to control your devices. The program works by beaming infrared signals stored in special databases called codebases. If you do not have the proper codebases, go to the Home Devices form and use the Add button to create a new codebase, and learn the codes from the original remote controls of your devices.

Version 2.61 adds palmOne LifeDrive and Tungsten E2 support.

  EXCELLENT, ONCE YOU GET THE TRICKS

  Pros: I had this one on my Palm V and just put it onto my LifeDrive. Great functionality, easy to use, good screens AND FREE. It learns fast, clones easy and comes with an ample preprogrammed database.

  Cons: DON'T FREAK IF YOU THINK YOU CAN'T EXIT. JUST GO TO THE HOME ICON AND TAP THE INTRO SCREEN THAT SHOWS UP. I SUPPOSE THIS IS A SECURITY FEATURE...(hmmm). I FREAKED TOO.

  Very useful product

  Pros: Versatile product. Able to replace all sorts of remotes and combine functions from several different ones. Also use it at work for controlling digital projectors when the remotes have gone missing!

  Cons: It's rather long winded to set up.

  Really good software. Does what it's supposed to do.

  Pros: Worked really fine and is easy to use. The learning mode is very useful

  Cons: It might get a bit difficult to find the codebases of a not well-known brand in case the remote is lost.

  Pros: turn your treo into a remote! the idea is kick ass!!

  Cons: hogs memory, never did get it to work. might be an awesome program if i knew what to do with it.have to reset to close
