Version: Free Hex Editor Neo 4.51.02
"Fast and looks very useful, but has a bug"
Pros: It seems a very useful hex editor, but when I tried to edit data at the end of a file larger than 2GB it saved the data elsewhere in the file instead of at the end. Maybe it is unable to address files larger than 32-bits? On the other hand it opened and the file very quickly and I was able to find the data where it had been written and restore what should have been there.
Cons: If saving data over 2GB is a bug, it needs to be fixed. If it is a known limitation it needs to be prevented. I hope the publishers does fix it because I would like to experiment more with this program.

Version: Free Hex Editor Neo 4.51.02
"Not Free! Limited Functions without upgrading for a Fee"
Pros: Sleek install, would have had a better opportunity to see the features if they were enabled in this version.
Cons: Waste of time and bandwidth downloading this software that is majorly limited in its functions.
Summary: Buy the upgrade or get a hex editor that is free and fully functional. The editors of this site should list this as Free to Try.
