Version: Nero 8 Ultra Edition 8.2.8.0
"I'll stick with my "Nero 7.10.12"!"
Pros: Nero has always been a great disk burning softwa, until "Nero 8" My version of "Nero" is compatible with Vista" and I'm very happy I saved the download. I bought a new hard drive and decided to try "Nero 8". What a mistake it was. Oh, it installed fine but I had burn process failures over and over. I got sick of wasting my disks so i got rid of this crap and installed my older version and bingo, not one burn failure. My activation code for 7 is almost 18 months old and still works. If you can find a download, and i have a link for 7,10.12, use it because it remains a great program that works fine on a "Vista" system.
Cons: What have they done to a once great disk burning software? Get a grip and fix this junk, please!

"Good for burning CD/DVDs but very hard to understand."
Pros: It works well when burning CD and DVDs which is what it does, however it has many flaws.
Cons: It hasn't crashed on me at all, but I have it on my laptop and it really does seem cloggy and hard to understand. The size of this program is enormous, and the menus aren't simple (although they look nice.) It takes a while to find stuff you need it to do, and it DOES use a lot of memory.
