Publisher's description of Microsoft DirectX Drivers Redistributable

Microsoft DirectX is a group of technologies designed to make Windows-based computers an ideal platform for running and displaying applications rich in multimedia elements such as full-color graphics, video, 3D animation, and rich audio. DirectX 9.0c includes support for Pixel Shader and Vertex Shader 3.0, along with many new features across all technologies, which can be accessed by applications using the DirectX 9.0 APIs. This download provides the DirectX 9.0c end-user redistributable that developers may include with their products. The redistributable license agreement covers the terms under which developers may use the redistributable.

Note: Note: After installation, the DirectX Runtime Module cannot be uninstalled without reinstalling your operating system.

  Pros: I want to play soldat so my comluter won't crash i need it lol...thanks to the cnet they have this good application..i don't test it yet but i know it will works..(^_^)

  Pros: I read some of about in microsoft home page; has real good performace in gaming experience(with a real junk like intel 82845g/gl/ge/pe/gv Graphics Controller...its a miracle)

  It is an awesome addition if you love to play games!

  Pros: We just got a new pc in August of 2006. Before I downloaded these December 2006 Direct X drivers my pc graphics card would get full and and I would get a low storage space error msg when I tried to play some of the newer Microsoft pc games (like Age of Empires III: The War Chiefs) and this would cause my games and yahoo messenger to freeze up but since I downloaded these drivers my graphics card has not given me a low storage error msg nor have my games or yahoo messenger been freezing up like they were.

  Cons: So far I cannot find any negative effects.
