Good start, but maybe TOO involved?
Pros: Great for geeks that want to get into every, and I mean every aspect of head coaching.
Cons: Boring meetings with the owner, etc. You got to be really into it to enjoy all aspects of the game.

Not an improvement over what Sierra did
Pros: I like the concept of the game as I have played similar games in the past like MicroLeague's Sports Illustrated '97 football game and also the various Sierra Front Page Sports Pro Football games. It is fun to be able to manage and then just play call a game instead of having to play arcade type games like Madden which get ridiculous after awhile with the high scoring games and unrealistic stats. Simulations are fun when done right. EA attempts to do a sim and so at least I give them credit for that cuz alot of people just won't play this type of game. They need to see extreme graphics.
Cons: It felt incomplete and yes it is a demo but it worries me cuz I assume the interface is going to stay the same and quite honestly it made for a horrible experience. They really need to change that if possible for the final product even at this late stage. It takes so long to move through the plays I found I was getting delay of game penalties and ahhh sheesh it is just not like what Sierra and MicroLeague had ... the interface was perfect for those games.
