Publisher's description of MyColors

From Stardock: MyColors is a software program that includes everything you need to change everything about your Windows experience. MyColors changes your Windows GUI, your icons, your wallpaper, and adds gadgets to your desktop. It doesn't modify any system files and enables users to easily switch between themes and back to default Windows. MyColors comes with the Diamond theme which can make Windows XP look virtually identical to Vista and gives Windows Vista users a more polished desktop experience.

MyColors is freeware. Additional MyColors themes are available. Some are free; others are paid.

  OK For Someone Else

  Pros: The application is very user friendly, and the graphics of the themes are very good.

  Cons: Very large download... Not to the liking of a dialup connection. Overall this program is ok, but not to my liking. It involves many computer resources to run the themes... more resources than I care to spare for my ystem. However, for others who like a pretty workspace, MyColor is a nice program.

  Pros: For a freeware, this one does a good job. It replaced my old boring XP desktop into cool Vista-like screen.

  Cons: I don't like Vista. And, I don't like themes.

  Great Idea, Needs More Free Themes

  Pros: Retheming my desktop with a download and a click is about as no-muss, no-fuss as I could ask for. It's also nice that it works for XP and Vista. Also, I don't have to install half a dozen applications to apply the whole theme. A good app to give to a non-techie who wants to theme their PC.

  Doesn't hurt at all that it's free too.

  (On a side note, there are 1-star reviews right now complaining about it, but 0 downloads.)

  Cons: The bundled free theme is OK, but nothing spectacular. A better pack-in, and a starter selection of high-quality free themes would make the app more appealing.

  Incredible Program. Vista needs themes like these.

  Pros: I love that it's an all in one program. It changes everything for you without having to install a bunch of confusing programs. I love the look. Gives Vista a nice makeover

  Cons: I don't like that the themes you have to pay for are $19.99. I'll save up and then get a couple more for my computer from their site. Other than that, this is excellent stuff.

  Pros: It's free.

  Cons: Most themes (really nice ones) must be paid for.

  The free themes are ugly. Useless! DON'T DOWNLOAD!!
