MyCleanerPC is a spyware- and adware-removal tool. It locates and deletes malicious software on your computer and searches deep within your hard drive for applications that can track your Internet activities, feed you unwanted advertisements, and compromise the overall security of your computer.

Version 1.0.24 allows the user 10 free cleanings and may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Note: The Download Now link will download a small installer file to your desktop. Remain online and double-click the installer to proceed with the actual download.

This application demonstrates competent adware-detection skills and includes a scan scheduler, but it still can't quite measure up to some free programs in this class. On the plus side, the purple-tinted interface is both attractive and easy to use, with large buttons for scanning your PC, scheduling scans, browsing scan results, and reviewing the scan history. But unlike some of its more capable competitors, this application lacks advanced features such as real-time protection. In our tests, the program's scan speed was quick and reliable, as it located the majority of adware we purposefully installed. However, at about 20MB, the application does hog a good deal of PC resources when running in the background. The demo provides you with 10 free cleanings, but a 30-day trial period would still be more up our alley. This program isn't comprehensive enough to be your only shield against malware, but it certainly could be a worthy addition to your arsenal.

  "database is only main-stream and misses many files"

  Pros: Nice interface, Fairly easy to use, and growing.

  Cons: Missed some installations that were generic downloaded in blocking. Aslo did not securely delete several of the malware programs weven when detected. This program did poor in definition when tested as well. Needs some never updates.

  "quick and easy"

  Pros: very fast easy to use, had no problems uninstalling as previously mentioned. over all a nice product.
