This little program allows you to create a custom style for Web pages that you view in the Internet Explorer. You can customize a Web page in several ways: increase spacing between lines of text to make it more readable; use margins - useful when the text occupies the whole screen width; replace the page font with the Verdana font which is more readable on a computer screen; hide all images on the page. To use the program, you need to create a custom style script first using a settings dialog.

This style creator isn't worth the short time it takes to download the installation file. My Style's dialog-sized interface uses three sliders and two radio buttons to create a personalized Internet Explorer page style. Users aren't able to direct the installation folder. There is no Help file, which is surprisingly needed for such a simple application.

My Style's first slider gives you the option to set line spacing anywhere from 100 percent to 200 percent. Two additional sliders control the left and right page margins. Radio buttons let you toggle options to use the Verdana font and to hide all images. Moving the sliders and clicking the radio buttons couldn't be any easier to operate. Finishing your changes takes a mere click on a Save Style button. That's the last thing that works well on this utility. Style changes are not implemented on the current or future pages. If a style is actually saved, it is well hidden. During testing, the publisher's Web site was unavailable.

Such a simple utility should be easy to use. Every aspect of this application shows a disregard for informing users. From installation to operation, simple instructions would improve the user experience. As it is, we can't recommend this freeware Internet Explorer utility for any user.
