Movies.app is a native application for the iPhone or iPod Touch that allows you to find show times, buy tickets, watch trailers, get maps to your local theaters, and much more. It can also show you the popular movies of the week, as well as upcoming movies to get excited about.

One of the first iPhone movie apps, Movies.app shares movie listings by zip code or theater for a three-day span.The easily navigable application makes use of a native interface and external Web pages to deliver show times and information about the most popular current and upcoming films. The lookup aspect is the app's backbone, and it quickly responds to fulfill burning moviegoer needs. Scroll down in the results page to see ratings (though whose they are is undisclosed), and click links to access Google's maps and directions, or to buy tickets with a call.
Self-made film critics may be frustrated by a lack of user input, and the dedication to blockbusters in the Box Office tab may disappoint those interested in art house cinema.

Pros: Software looks like it would be great. I am a movie buff and this would be helpful
