Moraff's MoreJongg 3D is our flagship mah-jongg game and a favorite among Moraff fans since 1995. The unique board layout has tiles shaped like 3D cubes with images on all sides, placed on a photographic-quality background. A layout editor is included, so now you can create your own layouts. Play the traditional 144 tiles or choose the 288-tile layout.

Version 11.0 includes Spanish, Russian, and English languages as well as new tile sets, backgrounds, layouts, and music.

Even though this version of mah-jongg solitaire uses the same set of rules as most PC versions do, Moraff's MoreJongg 3D manages to be unique. The 3D tiles are illustrated with pictorial representations of, for example, bamboo, which makes it a bit harder to differentiate them compared to games that use more stylized symbols. In addition, the Chinese characters themselves are drawn in 3D, which takes some getting used to. If you want a little variety, you can choose from a few tile sets and a couple of background images. You will be motivated to choose only available and matching tiles by the annoying "Sorry!" that chimes in when you make an error. The graphics, the various reward options, and the pleasant music pump up the game's installation file. You can right-click to get a hint for your next move, and, if you run out of options at the end, you can choose to take a 30-second penalty and reshuffle the tiles. Moraff's MoreJongg 3D provides both challenge and pleasure for mah-jongg fans.

  Pros: very picturesque if you want pictures. if you want a good game, no different than any other.

  quirky graphics are annoying

  Pros: Cool visual ideas, nice upbeat music

  Cons: The 3D graphics sounds cool but it's really annoying. I can't see half the tiles because the big pitchers are blocking the tiles behinds. Not very layout options either.
