The object of this tycoon game is to discover the Seven Magic Fish of Isola and restore the island to its former glory. You start with a small selection of fish, some money, and a tank. You must breed them, care for them, help them grow, and cure them if they get sick. Along the way you can buy supplies, medicine, research technologies or invest in advertisement to enable you to discover rarer and rarer species until you find the Magic Fish. All of this will be financed by selling exotic hybrids in your shop. The game runs in true real time, so that if your device is turned off or you exit the game, hours later small fish will have grown larger and new surprises await you.

In version 1.1, using infrared beaming you can trade fish with your family and friends.

With colorful graphics and a quirky plot, Fish Tycoon is a step ahead of most ordinary simulation games. Designed for the Palm OS, it puts players in the role of fish breeders, starting with an aquarium populated with a few ordinary fish. These must be fed and cared for; when they're grown, they can be sold for better tanks, research technologies, or advertisements for rarer species. The ultimate goal is to crossbreed your fish, in hopes of creating the seven magic varieties that will help you win the game. The action takes place in real time, so the fish will grow and age even while the handheld is turned off, and the game stopped. The game itself functions smoothly, taking little system memory, and has a fully automatic installation process. Fish can be traded with other players by using the device's infrared connection. Trial limitations simply bar players from purchasing advanced inventory items. With its quirky, well-designed play, we can happily recommend Fish Tycoon to any handheld gamer looking for an engaging diversion.

  "adictive and fun"

  Pros: It is very user friendly. And new fish keep it interesting.

  Cons: There is not a hole lot of content. I played on slow and got bored after 2 weeks.

  "I love this game, I feel like I have a tank of living fish"

  Pros: I have to work on the computer all day, and I keep the game running and every now and then I check out how my fish are doing and sometimes I sell some of thm and make profit. It's gets me out of the work climate and refreshes me.

  Cons: Magic fish, nothing is stated to help us find them. More tuturiols are needes.

  Pros: But for younger minds

  Cons: Since I am older it is to intense for me and I need to find out how to erase it from my PDA. Thanks any way. It was fun to try it.

  "cool game, easy to learn, funny and exciting at all times."

  Pros: this is a very good game for all ages. It takes u only a little bit to understand the way you need to play, so u dedicate the rest of ur time 2 actually play it. The only bad for me is that u gather money quite hard. apart from that i would recommend it to all of u that try to find an easy goin game for any time of the day. Somethin else is that "moves" in real time so ppl only have to dedicate just a little bit from their time

  Cons: as i mentioned the money is sth that a lot of us dislike since u gather them very hard . especially the research enviroment. How r we supposd to get the $1750 for the 2nd fish enviroment research ei?? give us some hints!!

  "Not helpful enough!"

  Cons: I couldn't buy enough supplies in the shop w/out registering. I also couldn't have enough money to start with in order to take care of my fish and buy stuff at the same time.
