With only $3,000 and seven days, you'll be working overtime in the Monster Garage to get the job done in time and on budget. Based on the hit Discovery Channel TV series, you will need to plan your monster machine carefully, order parts or create/construct the parts needed and start wrenching away, just like Jesse James and his monster team of experts. Turn a limo into a fire truck or an SUV into a rock crawler. When you have completed your mission, test it against its real-world equivalent. Do you have the skills to take a run-of-the-mill street ride and turn it into an awesome miracle of modern engineering and ingenuity?

Note: The installer file is only 171K, but the download is actually a very large (583MB) file and may take several hours to download via dial-up modem.

This dull and mindless auto-shop simulator is less enjoyable than a two-minute ad for motor oil. Based on the Jesse James TV show of the same name, Monster Garage gives your team of four people seven days and $3,000 to take a vehicle and rebuild it into something completely different. Sound like fun? It isn't. First, you check the Hints menu for the parts you have to buy. You then simply click the Buy button, order the necessary parts, dismantle your vehicle, and wait. When a new part arrives, you try to make it into something useful. After all the parts are ready, you start assembling the vehicle--and here comes the pain. Some parts have to go in before others, and to install them you do things like move your cursor along the weld or screw in bolts--a frustrating trial-and-error process. Videos from the show occasionally interrupt the "action" (and by the way, this demo weighs 600MB, mostly because of them). Our take? The only monster in this garage is this giant stinkbug of a game.

  Cons: I don't need to download this to tell you it really is rubish! Are they really charging $20 for this? Not exactly Need For Speed!

  Pros: nothing

  Cons: Ive downloaded this 5 times each time it messed my whole system up im running xp on a p4 with 256 ram if this system wont run the game its not worth the time plus the small file you download here is just a link to a bigger file that takes forever to complete. I also have high speed internet.

  Summary: my dear lord, this game used up all my memory and no hard drive left,thats alot to ask just for a demo ,sorry it should be free
