From Felitec:Mindful includes an event reminder and a mini calendar in one system-tray application. Define your own events or select from the list of 72 predefined common events. Use Mindful for appointments, anniversaries, or any occasion, recurring or not, that you don't want to miss. Position the mouse over the system-tray icon for the next upcoming event to be displayed in a hint. Right-click the icon and select Calendar to display a mini calendar. If you leave your computer on overnight, Mindful automatically updates your list of events in the first minute of the new day and displays your list if one or more events are due for notice.
Version 1.2 adds a Notes field, a Save and a Save as... feature, and an Event main menu item as an additional way to manage items.

Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Contains features that can't be used unless you buy it.. therefore = NOT FREE. Generated an "IP" error... why would it need my IP?

Pros: discrete location near clock, only says something if one of YOUR reminders is due, works great!

"This is what I've been waiting for!"
Pros: I'm presently using Mindful SE which has every feature you could want. . .advance notice of events; auto-rollover, and your choice of notification types. It greets you automatically when you turn on your computer. There's no excuse now for not fulfilling your responsibilites.
I've needed to ask for tech support several times because I'm not a computer pro. Responses have been immediate and thorough! I've learned so much thanks to the expertise and faithful patience of
Philippe! The SE version has a one-time fee of $10 plus a $3 processing fee. WOW! That is the BEST $13 I've spent in the past 40 years! Go for it! You won't be disappointed!!

Pros: It does what it is suppose to be doing. Very easy to use and it's "FREE". I don't forget any occassions even appointment. It runs in the system tray - very handy. Overall - it's perfect!
