MindPal's mission is to produce software that challenges your mind. The company's first product, the WordPal Vocabulary Builder program, won Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine's 2006 Educational Award after being in development for two years. The author of the program, Wayne Buckholdt, has over 25 years of experience in the computer industry and is currently a Software Engineering Instructor at Full Sail. Prior to that he worked as a Software Engineer at Electronic Arts, a Design Verification Manager at Adaptec, and a firmware engineer at DPT. He also wrote a top ten utility for the Atari ST called Turbo ST, that greatly accelerated the display of text and graphics.
