MesNews is a newsreader. It is a freeware developed in the Delphi 7 language. It works on all version of Windows (95, 98, NT, on 2000 and XP). multi-servers, multi-forums displaying of messages in text and html format sending in text and html format display of the servers / forums in a tree structure form, or with only a button per server three levels of synchronizations for the forums displaying of smileys in the pictures form ( animated gif).

Organize and manage newsgroup messages with this easy-to-use freeware. At first launch, MesNews suggests an update and works to easily guide users through setup. The brief onscreen directions helpfully lead inexperienced users through newsgroup and e-mail configuration.

Like the Settings window, the main interface is plain but functional. The display mimics common e-mail programs, with a tree menu of items on the left and viewing pane on the right. As with e-mail folders, you can see at a glance how many new messages are in each monitored newsgroup. It takes just a click to view or create a message in either text or HTML format.

There's quite a bit of flexibility for creating signatures, customizing message layout, and display. For those who've come to rely on the ubiquitous emoticons, there's an option to use smileys in your outgoing messages. Additional functions are easily added through plug-ins.

MesNews is recommended for any user searching for a flexible, stable, and free newsgroup manager.
