MediLexicon Medical IE Toolbar is a free, browser-based search companion that offers access to tons of health and medicine-related information. The program, exclusive to Internet Explorer, places a nondescript toolbar onto your browser. With it, you can quickly search MediLexicon-created content for medical abbreviations, medical terms, pharmaceutical companies, drug information, and more. It provides links to the latest medical articles posted to MediLexicon's Medical News Today Web site. You also can utilize Google or Merriam-Webster Online for other inquiries. In our tests, MediLexicon Medical IE Toolbar effectively delivers; Web page load time was speedy. Unlike similar programs in this category, you won't find any extras like pop-up blockers or the ability to clear IE browsing history. Additionally, it excludes popular browsers such as Opera and Mozilla. Nonetheless, MediLexicon Medical IE Toolbar is a great add-on for those in the health care field.
