Matte key principle is to let user concentrate on the photos and his or her own impressions, but not on the program. We have tried to avoid all distracting factors like preferences, different viewing modes, layout adjusting, focusing on the ease of use, and optimum use of screen space and high performance. With Matte you can: Browse photos by date as easily as by folders, do selections and copy & paste them; Browse the whole file system hierarchy under selected folder, including all of its subfolders; and Take advantage of your wide screen: when resized, Matte automatically adjusts the separator position, so the standard 43 photo will be viewed at max possible scale, without any empty fields around.

Version 1.1 now supports more than 300 cams RAW image formats (DCRaw based).
