Version: Mail Recovery for Outlook Express 2.3.1
"Couldn't restore my missing emails"
Pros: Seems to be fairly simple to run. Lets you run full version and shows results, but won't let you actually restore them without paying for the program which is fair.
Cons: Outlook Express ate a year's worth of my "sent" folder I believe when I was compacting the folder (bad idea!). I found this program and tried using it to find the missing year's worth of emails. After 30 minutes, gave up...unable to find or restore the emails. This may or may not be the fault of the program as it's possible Windows totally annihilated the messages. My guess is they are in my PC somewhere, but this program didn't enable me to find them.
