Doesn't work

Cons: I hate to complain about free software, but this one doesn't work at all so I felt compelled to create an account here for the express purpose to warn people not to waste their time with this thing. I expect it has some undocumented dependency on some MS junk (probably Media Player, which I will NOT update, as it is a horrible app that gets worse with every revision and, like IE, is so integrated with the OS that it can mess up a machine during updates); how am I suppose to know what to install? And why should I have to? Good apps can certainly be written without such dependencies. I'm going to move on and try another app.

Oh, also note that while I was looking through the documentation to try to find out what the dependency was, I noticed it says it IS limited: it will only record 1/3 of a track until you pay for it! This is NOT what the page here says! This page says it is free with NO limitations. DO NOT bother downloading or installing this misleading garbageware.

Why'll you're looking for another download...

I'm going to enjoy the NO limitation that this FREE software has. Sure I read the website where it says that it'll only "convert 1/3 duration from your media files with the free demo." Guess what? That doesn't seem to be the case! I've now converted two full albums plus two very long 45 minute tracks with NO issues. And yes I've already listened to them just to make sure it was true. I have never nor will I ever BUY software (such as this) that should ultimately be freeware. So do us a favor...

Stop your whining and take it up with microsoft.
