Mactracker provides detailed information on every Apple Macintosh computer ever made, including items such as processor speed, memory, optical drives, graphic cards, supported Mac OS versions, and expansion options. Also included is information on Apple mice, keyboards, displays, printers, scanners, digital cameras, iPod, AirPort Base Stations, Newton, and Mac OS versions.

Version 4.3 adds several models to the database including MacBook, MacBook Pro, Apple TV, and Apple iPhone, along with other minor changes and enhancements to the interface.

Mactracker, an exhaustive database of absolutely every Apple Mac, monitor, and peripheral ever made helps you find out. This version adds up-to-date information on the latest MacBook and MacBook Pros, as well as on Apple's newer displays and digital cameras, the iPod, the iPhone and all of Apple's recent software offerings. We've always liked how quickly Mactracker is updated to reflect new Apple hardware, and using MacTracker couldn't be easier: Just click the name of the product you want specs for and it will appear in a window. You'll need to register to receive regular updates.

"Won't download"

Pros: hard to say: it wouldn't download

Cons: I was stuck in a loop of web links trying to down load this: back and forth between CNET and the MacTracker site. When I got the confirmation email, I tried to download again, and was stuck in the loop again.

"Too Bad!"

Pros: It is sad when CNET highlights a piece of software and it can't be downloaded from the site, or any mirror site. Doesn't look good.....
