From Gerard Putter: MacPAR deLuxe is a utility program that can be useful to you if you upload and download binary files to and from Internet newsgroups. Ensures error-free transport of the data by means of so called 'par' files; Unpacks data from a RAR archive (most of the files in newsgroups are compressed with rar); Automatically starts an external program (such as Stuffit Expander) to process downloaded files. New in this version: Only the relevant par2 files are moved to the trash. Added the option to automatically check the Internet for a MacPAR deLuxe software update.
