Publisher's description of MSN Messenger (Windows 2000)
From Microsoft:MSN Messenger is an instant-messaging program that notifies you when your friends are online so you can send messages or chat with several friends at once. In addition, MSN Messenger notifies you when you have new e-mail in your Hotmail account and allows you to access your inbox with the click of a button. You have full control over who can contact you and view whether you are online. At any time, you can see a list of all users who have added you to their lists, and you can easily block them if you choose to do so. You can also invite someone in your list to meet over the Internet or to play an Internet game using NetMeeting.
The program will even notify you when someone you are communicating with is typing so you can avoid overlapping messages. MSN Messenger also offers integration with Outlook Express 5.0. You can visit chat rooms and join in, arrange your contacts into groups, select emoticons from a drop-down list, and get quick access to all of MSN Messenger's features with a single click.

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7
Pros: its a good messanger, but aim and yahoo prove to be the dominant breed in a race to make faster instant communication.
Cons: not as good as AIM and Yahoo!

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7
Pros: The default skin is pretty.
You can send handwriting!
Cons: But in order to send handwriting over windows 2000, you need to install about 4 programs to get it to work. Not worth it for me.

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7
Cons: There are so many better Messenger choices out there than MSN. On top of it, MSN keeps trying to change your settings to load with Windows on every update -- really annoying!

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7
Pros: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7.0 is merely ok. The idea of adding winks and nudges is kinda cool and mildly entertaining, but the program itself is somewhat lacking.
Cons: The biggest problem I found with messenger is that it takes up a lot of memory to run in the background. Also, it can sometimes crash the machine if too many conversations are open at once. There are better messenger versions available.

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 2000) 7
"Simple and does not eats up your RAM , Your only choice for Windows2000"
Pros: I like it because it is fast and does the job well. Does not eats up your RAM and it's your only choice if you're using a Windows2000.
Cons: Does not support Off line message (Like MSN Live)
