Play a fast-paced and Risk-style strategy game.

Lux brings the time tested gameplay of the boardgame Risk to a new age. It can be played on over a billion different world maps in five sizes. Along with all the options that you desire. Included are 10 computer AIs, ranging from easy to deadly. If you are a developer take a look at the LuxAgent SDK for details on how to write your own, with examples provided. If you're more the graphics type, you can create your own board theme. Three come built in to Lux. Lux records the wins and losses of both human and computer players, so you can see exactly how you stack up.

Great game. Simple, yet lots of depth.

Pros: Terrific adaption of classic Risk, yet with hundreds of available maps, some serious AI opponents, network play, and user-customizable maps and opponents. All the fun of Risk without the tedious dice rolling and pushing little plastic bits around. <p> <p>Graphics and sound are nice without being over-the-top.
Cons: Sometimes a little tricky to click on countries.
