The free Debt Reduction Calculator is a Microsoft Excel workbook that helps you plan how to reduce credit card debt, auto loans, student loans, and other debts. The spreadsheet lets you choose from various debt reduction strategies, including the popular debt snowball strategy (paying the lowest balance first) and the highest interest first strategy. Easily print a debt snowball payment schedule to help you keep track of your progress. The download contains two files. One is formatted to allow you to list up to 10 creditors. The other allows you to list up to 20 creditors. No installation is required, and the file contains no macros, no spyware, and no adware. Save your results by simply saving a copy of the spreadsheet. Help is provided within the worksheets and cell comments.

"Sweet deal for the price."

Pros: Nice simple tool for calculating different debt scenarios. Easy to play with the data. Advanced adjustments are possible (assuming you a have good understanding of Excel). Would I download it again? You betcha.

Cons: A more robust calculation for things like adjustable rate mortgages would give it a fifth star, but how can one bicker? The download is free.

"A great eye opener for financial awareness!"

Pros: I am amazed how simple it is to have financial insight through these free download programs. I am very please with this program. It downloaded and installed easily. It is simple to use and fulfilled it's promotions.

Pros: Great way to destroy your debt with a certain amount of money that you want to use.

Cons: Needs more options to clear debt
