Lightning fast searches and downloads

Pros: This version of LimeWire has TONS of search results, TONS of hosts, and lightning fast downloads. With broadband you can download 50 popular songs in about 10 minutes or less. Some songs take less than 10 seconds! You can also chose which host has the fastest connection to download from. T3 is the fastest, followed by T1, Cable/ DSL, and Modem. LimeWire is also very good at finding Full length feature films, videos, games, and software products. LimeWire Has no ads or popups to distract you. Happy downloading!

Cons: All p2p applications are considered spyware by many antispyware programs,( e-Trust Pest Patrol, Yahoo Antispyware, Spy Cleaner Gold, Trend Micro), etc, so you need to add Limewire to the white list(ignore list) or your spyremovers will uninstall Limewire. Also, stay away from software files under one MB. They all contain viruses.(851.7 KB is a good example).

Thanks, I am kind of running out of products to test. I've been downloading programs for two years and about all that is left are just upgrades from previous versions. At one time I had 148 icons om my desktop from all the programs I had downloaded and couldn't even see my desktop wallpaper any more. So I bought another pc, and then partitioned my hard drive 3 times so I actually have 4 operating systems now, plus Windows Vista Beta 2. So, what are you interested in, P2P apps, like Limewire? It is the fastest. You can open up my profile and e-mail me

For all first time users ...to answer many of your e-mail questions to me

Welcome to the world of file sharing. If you are downloading just music, you shouldn't have any problems. But if you are downloading games, movies, or other software products, never download a file that is smaller than 1 MB. It will be a virus. Also never download an exe file..only zip files, and always scan with your virus protection. Some of these small virus files are sent by the publishers,( because they feel we should buy their product instead of getting it for free) , and some by sick perks who think it is a joke to give you a virus. As far as spyware, ALL p2p apps are considered spyware by many antispy programs. If your spy cleaner detects LimeWire as spyware...just uncheck the box or add it to the always ignore list, sometimes called the White list. Hope this answers your questions. Happy Downloading! goldengreeke
