Lightning fast searches and downloads

Pros: LimeWire has TONs of search results, TONS of hosts, and lightning fast downloads. I don't know about the speed for dialup users, but with broadband you can download 50 popular songs in about 10 minutes or less. Some songs take less than 10 seconds! You can also chose which host has the fastest connection to download from. T3 is the fastest, followed by T1, Cable/ DSL, and Modem.
Cons: Software sharers beware! There are many viruses showing up in the software files. Stay away from these five....they are all viruses. Files with 851.1, 765.5, 424.3, 69.4, and 0.0 I haven't noticed this in the music files at all, but the software files are loaded with these file sizes.

I use a Mac, but have notice a lot of the files I have downloaded....then scanned with ClamXav- they did have a virus.
I trash those and mark them as Junk.
Windows users should be very carefull!!!

Indeed, you must ALWAYS look at what you download. What perplexes me is that some people actually download those ZIP, RAR, EXE, etc. files that have such a small file size. To see if my antivirus is just up to date, I download them, and scan them individually. Usefull review nonetheless.

Don't know where they are all comming from, but Bearshares, Morpheus, Arachnid, and other p2p apps have these small virus files, also. Many more sizes, stay away from all under 1 MB!

Limeware is fastttttttttt how you can bet if you try to download software you will get a virus so don't do it!

All movies games and software are atleast 1MB or higher. After you download your file, right-click it and scan for viruses before you extract it, it will only take a few seconds. Also only download rar or zip files with software sharing. Stay away from exc. files!
