Lots of games appeal to your inner Bart Simpson, but what about your Principal Skinner? Finally, there's a game for him too. In School Tycoon, you play an up-and-coming headmaster. Your job is to construct buildings for academics, administration, maintenance, and sports, and to fill those buildings with teachers, coaches, and staff. On top of that, you have to keep the students in a good mood by providing top-notch facilities for studying and relaxing. And you have to do it all within your budget, of course. We liked the game's graphics. The colors are vibrant and the buildings distinct, so you won't, for instance, confuse two different classrooms. Similarly, the teachers, trainers, cooks, and other staff have their own unique characteristics: some are stricter, others have more skills, and some are more fun to be around. On the downside, some users have reported stability issues, and the 60-minute trial is frankly ridiculous considering how much time you'll have to spend downloading the 300MB trial version. Ramones fans also may be disappointed that they can't build a truly rock 'n' roll high school with this game. But overall, we think pedagogues and apple polishers of all ages will get a kick out of School Tycoon.

  "Fun, tested it out. Application is virus free."

  Pros: Excellent game play.

  Cons: It does run up a lot of resources. Not the best designed software. We did test the software in our labs but found nothing wrong with it to support having a virus in it. Sounds like a config issue to me in other posts...

  "Good game but too short"

  Pros: Great features such as being able to add yourself, with a specific personality, into the game.

  Cons: ONLY A 60 MINUTE TRIAL! And isnt it just a bit unrealistic for a school to be hit by 4 tornados in a year?

  "Interesting gameplay"

  Pros: I enjoyed it very much, just like TheSims 2

  cool graphic, easy to control

  I like it lots better than zoo tycoon, even rollercoaster 3

  Cons: When you've done something that nobody else could, suddenly a tornado comes and swept everything apart, that will be a pain in the but to pay the maintainences.

  "Comes with installer for MALL & AIRPORT TYCOON3"

  Pros: Simple enough to play without use of built in tutorial.Most outstanding thing I found was that you can create your own personality within a character.

  Cons: Very large file so if your using dial-up you'll be waiting for hours also after downloaded it takes several moments to load the game.
