JumpCut's fun, feature-filled online movie creator and sharing service justifies its slight learning curve and excuses the occasional reminders that the Webware offering is still in beta. Movie projects can be made from a variety of ingredients, including video, audio, and photo files or clips grabbed from other videos published on the site. The program supports multiple movie, image, and audio files, which takes away conversion headaches, and even offers a way to initialize your upload via e-mail, a good choice if the interminable hang-up we experienced in our test upload persists. Create your first video by adding clips from your personal collection, and edit for length in the "clip" tab. You can also set soundtrack lengths and add visual and audio effects by clip. Once saved, you can reedit the video by selecting it from your personal home page and clicking "remix." Keep in mind that publishing a project makes it accessible to all viewers for voting and splicing, but you can still share your project without publishing. While some essential features are missing--clearer clip editing tools and a way to browse for more video faves from within the editor, for starters--the easy-as-pie creation sees YouTube's video sharing and voting service and raises it a valuable first step: building the movie product in the same application.

  Pros: don't like the sexy typos...get real..this is not a pervert..registering..do not want association sicko's..
