  Pros: I've used Eclipse for 2 years and some other Java-based IDEs but IMHO none compares with Jcoder. Eclipse and most other IDEs are developed in Java so it lends it a sluggishness which can't get in the way of your work. What I'm looking for is a fast and lightweight IDE, and Jcoder meets what I need as it's completely written in C++.

  Cons: It doesn't support JRuby.
