Version: Java Neural Network Examples 1

"Commercial"

Pros: The source is, in fact, free for all to download. However...

Cons: ...without the book (not free) the code is essentially useless. Not a library in fact, but a set of specific examples of neural networks, designed to apply to chapters in a commercially-available book. It would have been nice to know this was not a library but a tie-in to a book.
