This simple IE-exclusive add-on places additional toolbar buttons on your browser windows, but the lack of a Help menu certainly won't benefit novice users. Internet Explorer Add Toolbar Button requires no installation; you'll only need to unzip the executable file and you're good to go. The program's no-frills interface lets you easily add custom buttons to your browser windows. You'll be able to set the buttons to launch a particular file, document, or application. Simply enter a name for the icon and text label to be displayed under IE's Tool menu. We were able to upload and use our own icons and position them anywhere on the toolbar. Users new to this sort of program will need to take some extra time to learn the ins and outs since there isn't a Help menu. Even so, users wanting easy access to their favorite files or apps while surfing the Web will find this freeware worth a download.
