Intelliremote is a software program that gives you complete remote control of your Home Theater PC infrared, or radio frequency remote and unlocks its true potential. HTPC makers have an excellent idea bundling an IR or RF remote control with their product. It's just too bad the software included doesn't do everything you want your remote to do. Have you tried Girder, HIP, or any of the other remote applications and gotten frustrated with how complicated they were to setup and use? Intelliremote takes the approach of "keep it simple and stupid" to make using and customizing your remote as easy and painless as possible.
Version 2.7.1.822 added support for RedRat UIRT IR reciever and blaster, added support for Sony Vaio Remote, and added 4 new buttons to Mouse Event: WheelUp, WheelDown, LeftToggle, and RightToggle.

"Excellent product, excellent support, easy to configure"
Pros: Profiles stored a XML, easy to reproduce with external development
Intelliphone control Intelliremote via the iPhone at no additional charge (app is available via Apple App Store)
Very helpful support and responsive communication from program author.Cons: I can't complain because the software does what I need it it do. Some user customization of the icons and layout of the Intelliphone GUI would be a nice future enhancement.
Summary: I am using Intelliremote along with Intelliphone to provide remote control via my Apple iPhone of all my SageTV HTPC viewing clients. The program's author was very helpful if assisting me and very responsive and timely on communication. This softwa... read more >>
