Quick out the gate
If you want to quickly find and load any chunk of data on your Palm OS, Initiate Pro is your app. Type or scroll through the launcher's categorized views to narrow your field, or switch to Power view to see it all. Dragging and dropping files among categories and to the SD card is a bonus, as is easily shipping them out through e-mail, Bluetooth, or beaming. The slight learning curve leaves us feeling that some actions should be easier than they are, like assigning voice commands, and the $24.95 price tag for the pro version seems steeper than it should be. However, Initiate is ultimately a time-saving launcher that doubles as an extensively customizable content organizer; and that's a good start.
