Image Video Machine is image-to-video and video-to-image converting software. You can use this tool to create your own video files from separate image files, such as making an animated GIF. You also can extract all frames of a video file into separate image files with this tool. There are many advanced features in Image Video Machine such as an image file list, the ability to drag and drop to add image or video files, and splitting and extracting of images from a video file. The following image formats are supported (create video from): JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PCX, WMF, EMF, TIFF, TGA, RAS, and J2K. The following video formats are supported (extract images from): AVI (DivX, XviD, MPEG-4, Uncompressed, and Cinepak), MPEG (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 Video), and WMV.

Version 3.1 fixes the repeating image bug.

How's this for a screenshot? This program takes digital images and transforms them into video, and vice versa. A straightforward interface has little character but sufficient features to make the process easy to complete. For video creation, all you have to do is drop files into the main window, adjust for frames per second and screen size, and choose video format--and you're set. Although the program claims to support AVI, MPEG, and WMV files, we only were successful in getting Image Video Machine to recognize AVI. To cut images from video, select file format, images per second, and then file destination. You also can view all completed projects, whether video or image, through the program. For quality video or image projects, we recommend giving Image Video Machine a test run.

  "easy excellnt qulaity"

  Pros: very easy to use and great

  Cons: you need to download some codecs to getmore options in what types videos you want but i can deal with that

  "Failed to initialize"

  Pros: The installer and unistaller work superbly.

  Cons: This may be a problem on my side, but I couldn't get the program to actually run once I had it installed. I immediately get an error when I start the program. "Failed to initialize. Please reinstall this program."

  "Excellent product - does exactly what it says"

  Pros: It's simple, reliable, robust (has never crashed, refused to work etc.), speedy to rip video to pics / pics to video, supports good selection of file formats, it far better at building vid from pics that so called 'pro' video junk, and it's cheap (�£20 gbp). Buy it today!!

  Cons: Only a couple: (a) seems to put last img file first on list (so you have to remove and add at bottom), and (b) when adding large numbers of img files (1000+) have load in batches - both very minor niggles and easily worked around
