Huminity is fun and best used for dating, job-seeking, business-networking, and making new friends.

As an instant messenger, Huminity is weak. It has a minimal chatting interface with several emoticons and no video or audio support. We don't know how Huminity chooses contacts, but when we logged on there were about 50 people on the list, and we still couldn't find someone online. The dozen or so chat rooms also were empty. Navigating the map of social connections can be entertaining, though. Following from node to node may lead you to someone interesting. When we edited our contact information, however, the list didn't reflect the changes. During installation, you can import contacts from Outlook and the ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo messengers. Huminity eats a fair amount of memory, even in the idle state. The program claims to be free, but requires payment to create a chat room or to perform an advanced search. So far, Huminity remains an experiment best joined by those who want to try another way to socialize.

  "I just want back my same account I upgraded my system and lost it all"

  Pros: It's a great way to communate with people all around the world being from Italy

  Cons: not enough space to talk about your golds

  "Cool software!"

  Summary: After getting invitation from some friends I downloaded Huminity. The skins looks bit childish but cute:)
  I loved the idea you can see your network of friends Â? Â? My networkÂ? Â? as they call it.

  "It got me"

  Summary: i registered with download.com just to give this product a thumbs down. After installin it, it asked for 5 aliases; as soon as i clicked 'manually something', the computer crashed. After restarting, my DSL connection wouldn't connect to the internet... read more >>

  "Very poor installation GUI. mimmics XP"

  Summary: Could not even install this stuff,
  
  It should have more friendly installation software.
  
  You have to supply at least 5 adresses b4 u can even connect. I keep very few addresses on my machine incase of viruses,hackers etc, read more >>
