Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office XP. SP3 contains significant security enhancements, in addition to stability and performance improvements. This service pack applies to any level of Office XP. It contains all updates included in Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), and updates released after SP2. Microsoft recommends that you use the Office Update site to determine if your computer requires this update before installing it.

Note: Download this file if you do not have access to your installation source or if you experience problems installing the Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) Client. There is no uninstall feature for this download.

"Please tell us what this program does and doesn't do for you!"

Pros: To other posters,
PLEASE, when writing reviews, please tell us what works, what doesn't, and if possible, at what stages - i.e. - during installation, won't run after (or will), or if only part doesn't work, please tell us which part of the OP SYS doesn't work! If it seems to be harmful, please post what is harmful about it? Since there are post here, and many households only have one computer, I can surmise that there is some workability to it, but then again, not really... for all I know, those posting could be posting from another computer and their's could be DOA on install.
Reading reviews is critical for many of us, but if we don't know exactly what's going on, then it doesn't help much, if at all.

Cons: Not sure, yet, downloading as I'm typing this, but looking for answers... This is for non-beta SP3. Will put 5 star until I see what this thing does...

"a terrible pack"

Pros: ???????

Cons: This PACK 3(SP3) caused my computer to completely shut down. I lost everything because I had to reinstall and set up again. 5 yrs of info, pictures, and internet passwords etc. I am so angry I can't speak. Thank you so much.??&*(&(

"After XP SP3 install, Outlook Express will not load"

Cons: Outlook Express will not load with a strange error message about being out of memory, diskfull and a msoe.dll failure. Unfortunately you cannot remove Outlook Express because existing new download versions will only work with XP SP1 & XP SP2. When I try a new Outlook Express install it fails because it only sees XP SP3 and stops the installation.

Cons: I downloaded sp3 from the microsoft website. After I installed it my pc crashed?????
