GolfCard is shareware and unrestricted. This means the application is not hobbled in any way and there are no nag screens. We simply ask for a registration fee if you like the software.

If you want to track your golf stats, this simple and free utility does the trick. Unless you're planning to take your laptop to the links, you'll need to write all information about the course and your play down on paper, then enter it into the program once you get home. This drawback is inherent to the software's nature, but we can't fault GolfCard. Installation could be a bit easier, as you must manually select where you want it to reside on your hard drive. Once you launch the program, the sample databases will help get you on your feet. When you're ready to enter your own information, you first type in data about the facility and course where you played. For each hole, you specify par, length, and handicap. You can also keep records of such data as wind speed, total strokes, and number of putts, penalties, and sand saves. GolfCard can track your statistics over time and generate results in graph format. Serious and computer-savvy golfers are likely to find this program a useful tool.
