This alternative browser offers tabbed surfing and a few other handy tools for no cash. As is the case with many browsers these days, GoSuRF Browser makes things more convenient by using tabs, though some users may have a tough time getting accustomed to the fact the tabs are at the bottom. The app runs quickly and smoothly, and provides one-click access to sites such as Google and Yahoo. The pop-up blocker is a positive, as it successfully stopped almost all ads we tossed its way. However, we found the main toolbar too cluttered with too many icons. On the plus side, we did like support for multiple languages, as well as the tool for quickly accessing an online translation utility. GoSuRF Browser doesn t take an undue amount of memory and won t cost you a cent, meaning it makes a decent option for users who aren t already attached to another alternative browser.
