Global Downloader is a universal application to search, download, and upload files in the Internet quickly and conveniently. It combines most functions of different Internet programs like P2P client, FTP client, and download manager. Thus Global Downloader has many Internet applications in one universal program. The program can resume broken downloads, accelerate downloads, it supports drag-and-drop and multiple recursive P2P, FTP, FTPS, SSL, SFTP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, and FXP site to site downloads.

Version 1.4.4.1 adds a favorites list, a download scheduler and ssl proxy support for ssl protocol.
