Version: GIMPshop 2.2.8
"I downloaded the GIMPshop and then recieved an email requiring jpg."
Pros: I saw a little bit of good with the way it might allow you to edit photo's.
Cons: I did not like the way GIMPshop completely took over the setup of downloaded jpg's so I have removed this software from my computer completly along with all other files that go with this software.

"It's a really good idea, and they got it down, but..."
Pros: It didn't work the first time, but after i ran the "Enable Photoshop Shortcuts" it worked. And it did what it said it does.
Cons: It'd be better if there was an option to make the windows locked in place, like the real photoshop. Also, as I said, they need to make it work without running the "Enable Photoshop Shortcuts" first.

"Four Star - Easy and will enjoy learning to use this one."
Pros: [Four Star - the program won't allow me to vote by using the stars, so--FOUR STAR
This program is easier to use than the regular one. When I used the original, three separate windows popped up and I didn't know where I was supposed to be when I was trying to use it. This one is so much more like the Photoshop and other art programs that I have used, I should be able to use this one easier. Thank you for creating it!

"I think people are missing the point"
Pros: Menus and tools have been rewritten to reflect the names used in Photoshop. The whole point of GIMPShop is to offer those folks who are using bootleg copies of Photoshop a legal alternative. Most functions in Photoshop are duplicated in GIMP, but the names of those ******** are sometimes unrecognizable (i.e. Auto Levels in Photoshop is called Normalize in GIMP). GIMPShop uses the PS naming conventions to make the transition easier for long time Photoshop users. This is not for GIMP enthusiasts. If you know and use GIMP well, this is not the program for you.
Cons: As in regular GIMP, the multiple Windows for Tools, Layers and Workspace can be cumbersome as you can only use one window at a time. There is a plugin to remedy this, but if you are comfortable with using plugins, it can be a hassle.
