"What's under the hood?"

This diagnostic tool gives you tons of information about every element of your system, such as your CPU, memory (virtual, physical, and swap-file), display drivers, virtual devices, and interrupt-request list. The system information for each category shows up quickly, and most of the benchmarks run smoothly, even when you have other applications running.

We found ourselves wishing for the ability to change attributes and settings, but that is probably beyond the scope of such a program. The standard Explorer-style folder interface makes it easy to access all the information. The arrow keys will only move you up and down the folder list, replacing the information displayed in the main window. The program outputs the system report as an HTML file that mimics the look of the program.

During testing, running a system report took longer than we expected, especially considering how quickly the information shows up in the main program. Otherwise, performance is excellent. Though the program is free, you must register your copy after 11 days. Gearheads will appreciate the wealth of system information Fresh Diagnose provides.

Version: Fresh Diagnose 7.54

"Infected With Trojan!!!"

Pros: Very possibly good bait to infect machines with and screw them up or take them over.

Cons: I downloaded one of their products called Fresh Download 7.74 and Kaspersky Anti-virus warned me right off there was a generic trojan in the file on installing it. I also scanned it at virustotal.com and it listed it as clean. This means the infection doesn't show up till install and is hidden from anti-virus till then. My machine can't be infected as I use Deep Freeze and any infection is gone after rebooting so it can't be affected.

Don't download or use any of their products without scanning them first unless you don't care about screwing your machine up or having it taken over. As for myself I don't want any of their garbage regardless.

The english on the software after installing is also misspelled and shows low quality work. Another warning sign as good quality software usually has better spelling in it as they care about the product that is put out. Use it at your own risk or recklessness. You got your warning!

Pros: U get to tweak a little bit but thats it.

Cons: web accelerator doesnt work, and when u register it pretty much spams u, dont sign up!

"Dangerous"

Cons: When the program starts, if you don't register, you must wait 5 minutes before you are able to use the program. I'm guessing (only a guess) that this is a ploy to make the impatient user register an email address so the address can be sold to spammers. Assuming the program is a good one (only an assumption - I didn't get that far), why ruin it with such apparent tactics?

"Easy to use, tons of information, contains SPYWARE?"

Pros: EASY TO USE

Cons: SOME OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS INACCURATE. IDENTIFIED IE6 ON MY MACHINE WHICH HAS IE7. OUR ANTISPYWARE DETECTED KEYLOGGER ASPY V2.2 IN THE INSTALLER.
