From Jacek Pazera: Free Zune Video Converter is a free application which converts the most popular video files (AVI, MPEG, MP4, FLV, or MOV) to Microsoft Zune compatible video format (WMV, MP4). You can also extract audio tracks from video files to MP3, WMA and M4A (AAC) format. The application allows you to convert full movie or selected range only. You can limit output file size and set many parameters used by encoder: audio and video bitrate, fps, resolution, sampling frequency and other. The Free Zune Video Converter interface is very simple and user-friendly. To convert video files, just drag & drop them into main window, select proper profile from list, and click the Convert button. If the video quality is poor, increase video bitrate. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

  hasnt worked for me yet :/

  Pros: it converts and i can watch them on the zune program

  Cons: they wont sync to my device at all yet they are somehow in my collection, but when i try to sync them it always fails

  Works well & Easy to use

  Pros: Easy to use, just load video to be converted and you can leave the video/audio settings to Auto if you don't know what settings you want. You can convert multiple files at once.

  Cons: It uses ffmpeg to convert video files, so you have that as a limitation. No dual-core support. The videos convert well, it's just that the highest quality setting just isn't high enough. There is still some blockiness when watching on the Zune.
