Version 1.08 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

There are niche programs, and then there are niche programs. Free WMA to MP3 Converter falls into the latter category. As the name suggests, it simply converts WMA files to the MP3 format. And it does that job well enough. Neither the conversion speed nor the output quality gave us any cause for complaint. The interface is austere but not ugly, and as straightforward as you'd expect with such a simple utility. The modest extras include the ability to convert batches of files and edit ID3 tags. You can find much more powerful converters, even for free, but if you just need to convert some WMA files to MP3s, this little program can do the job.

  Got irritating bugs

  Pros: Tested only on WMA to MP3 conversion and was able to add to conversion list only one by one.

  Cons: Could not add multiple files at once. When doing so, it would a box would pop-up telling me of the inability to read the files (one by one could read,) and to click on the help file button which was not working. This window would not open completely so could not read all the message and could not scrool down.

  Free WMA to MP3 Converter

  Useful tool if you use a P2P program

  Pros: Turns all of your WMA songs into MP3 format. So lets say that you use Limewire and you have a rare file but it's in WMA format and you don't want it to take long to open Windows Media Player(Default) or any other player that you use to open WMA files, this software will help you lower the time from opening another media player and it'll play it inside Limewire.

  Cons: There is a bad part though. It makes the song take more space than what it would take if it was in WMA format.
