From Ashampoo: Ashampoo Magical UnInstall completely monitors each new installation. This is ensured by the system remembering each single change to the system. But thats not all to it: Installations can be completely undone, if requested. This means: If you leave uninstallation of software to Ashampoo Magical UnInstall, the system will look afterwards the same as before installation, i.e. no single unused file will remain on the system. Automatically recognizes a retrieved SETUP.EXE or INSTALL.EXE programme and records the following installation. The tool may be configurated in such a way as to recognize also installation programmes with any other names. Any uninstallation can be undone at any time using the ReInstaller tool. Automatic checking for available updates online. Installation screen starts with installation and records any changes to the system. Any newly-installed add-ons, plug-ins or patches can be added to installation recordings at a later stage

  Brilliant, well thought out but flawed concept

  Pros: The monitoring of installations works like a charm. Almost hassle-free. The Rolls Royce version of Zsoft.

  Cons: The uninstall part is buggy. You are presented will new windows with dailogues and button captions in German !! This results in ENDLESS clicking.

  Wrote to Ashampoo about this. Credit to them for a quick response. A link was provided to download a new version at their website.

  You must uninstall the earlier version before installing the new one.

  But for this bug, This program would be rated 5 stars.

  It´s good but not the best.

  Pros: It pop up and detect to much when you work on the pc.

  Works Well, a utility I upgraded

  Pros: Before I start I just want to say I used the free version from here and had no problem using the reg code I got in the e-mail. The program worked very well. Follow the instructions and the program will monitor the installation of a program and then allow you to completely uninstall it. I liked it so much I upgraded to the platinum 2 version.

  Cons: A good log depends on you not missing any steps and one step, the last step is that you open the newly installed program before saving the log. This does not work for a program that requires you to re-boot before installation is complete. That is my only complaint with this program.

  Cons: I found it hard to use (am not that tech minded) to much messing round for me
