With a simple click Free Internet Window Washer securely erases your Internet tracks, computer activities and programs history information stored in many hidden files on your computer. It also provides you option to clean the data from your PC more securely so that they could not be recovered. Free Internet Window Washer allows you to erase Window's temp folders, run history, search history, open/save history, recent documents, your browser's cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, autocomplete memory, index.dat files, Google search history, and Yahoo search history. You can also easily erase the tracks of up to 100 popular applications.

Version 2.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

  Free Internet Window Washer

  This is a good privacy cleaner.

  Pros: When this program opens click wash settings. And on windows system you can clean recent documents, start run, windows search file find, clipboard, log files, file fragments, temp files and more.

  Click on browsers and it suppots cleaning for four browsers. Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera and Firefox. Select the boxes you want to clean temporary internet files, cookies or you can manage the cookies you want to keep. Also can select visted url history, recently typed url history, index .dat files, last download location and auto complete history. After you have selected what you want to clean, click test and it will show how many files and size in kilobytes will be cleaned. Then click wash now and everything that was selected will be cleaned.

  Cons: To clean start run and index .dat files does require a restart. There is a nag screen that pops up when this program is first opened, so just click skip or close to get rid of the nag screen.

  Pros: Does what it says.

  Cons: Didn't like the "ask for donation or whatever" screen at startup so you can zap it by right clicking it's icon > hit properties > in the target box at the end add a space and then type this :

  /nologo

  Hahaha, rids it and the person who paid $15 just to avoid seeing it wasting his/her money (hate to tell ya) cause they could've typed that in and it'd do the same thing for FREE, LOL.

  A good program

  Pros: It works well and does the job. For fifthteen dollars you can stop it from asking for money every time you use it. I payed the fifthteen dollars, it was worth it. Better then CCleaner.

  Does what it says, but I'll stick with others

  Pros: It works, and erases private information well.

  Cons: It does what it's supposed to, but not much else. Compared to the most popular freeware cleaner, CCleaner, it is lacking in features and interface design. It doesn't have registry cleaning, custom shredding, startup manager, or programs manager. Its visual interface looks like it's from the 90s. Stick with CCleaner.
