AceMoney Lite is free account-management software. It will help you keep a tight rein on your spending habits, your stock portfolio, your 401(k), and your bill payments. With more than 100 transaction categories, support for password protection, 150 currencies, and more than 20 supported languages, AceMoney Lite is powerful and clever enough for any home user or even for small businesses. It supports QIF and OFX file formats, allowing you to download information from online banks or to import it from another account's software. AceMoney Lite can generate custom reports based on any parameters you define, and can call up bar graphs and pie charts. On top of that, AceMoney Lite provides a simple loan calculator and a professional mortgage analyzer.

Version 3.10 adds archiving, duplicate check number warning, mouse wheel support in a list of accounts and reports, support for simple arithmetic expressions to all dialogs, and support to download quotes and exchange rates through proxy server.

  Pros: The Lite version lacks only the functionality to have multiple accounts. But the software is great to have and it helps track your expenses in any field you like. Customize it to suit yourself.

  Only one Account

  Pros: easy to use and lots of featurs plus it automatically makes monthly reports which is usefull

  lots of categories and a bill calender

  Cons: lite version can only have one account set up with it so it kinda limits you reports

  Pros: This is a great program that is mostly text-based and uses the Microsoft Excel platform. For trial-ware and simplicity that will generate reports for EOM and EOY spending habits, u cant beat it.

  Cons: If you want bells and whistles, get Microsoft Money.
