Publisher's description of Flashblock
From Lorenzo Colitti and Philip Chee:Flashblock is an extension for the Mozilla, Firefox, and Netscape browsers that takes a pessimistic approach to dealing with Macromedia Flash content on a webpage and blocks all of the Flash content from loading. It then leaves placeholders on the webpage that allow you to click to download and then view the Flash content. Version 1.5.4.1 includes unspecified updates.

Version: Flashblock 1.5.4.1
Pros: FlashBlock is one of the first extensions I got ever since I downloaded Firefox. This tool helps you block unwanted or wanted flash movies and objects and has a play button asking if you would want to play the flash movie or not. I find this very useful because I hate advertisements with flashy and annoying animations. This add-on saves you the annoyance, and is very useful.
Cons: Although it blocks ads, on certain websites or objects (myspace music player), after clicking the play button, it would just block the entire flash object instead of playing it. Only flaw so far..

Version: Flashblock 1.5.4.1
Pros: Blocks all flash, no more waiting for unwanted Video to load before page completes. Able to initiate flash when wanted.

Version: Flashblock 1.5.4.1
Pros: I absolutely LOVE this Firefox extension. I use dial-up and embedded flash items would severely slow my download times. Now I can decide when I want to see the flash item or not. Thanks Lorenzo Colitti and Philip Chee.
Cons: I have no cons whatsoever to discuss about this product.
