Version: First Page 2006 3
Pros: THis is a great HTML editor. Primarily what I was looking for. you can create tables, images, scripts, and other extras into your page. After entering one of those, you can edit it the way you want.
This program doesn't need hardly any HTML experience or knowledge. Although would be nice to have, that's why it has quick, basic examples you can look at in a start up page to get to know the basics of HTML.
Recommended for site owners or template creators.
Cons: I'm degrading it one star because when you edit the code manually, the typing goes extremely slow. It took me forever to change one part.
Also some of the time the previewer didn't show what the HTML shouldv'e shown..

Version: First Page 2006 3
Cons: It says there are no limitations on this editor, but that's just not true. This is not freeware since it comes with a 30-day limitation before you have to purchase a license for it. If I had known this, I never would have downloaded and installed it. I wish Download.com would stop listing these scams in with the freeware.

Version: First Page 2006 3
Pros: Excellent Active Server pages support; just click on the Options/Advanced tab. True WYSIWYG under 'Design View.' I read comments around the web about it and learned that it is not a true freebie, but that the trial is unending and that most features remain available. A very nice free alternative to Front Page or Expression Web or Dreamweaver.
Cons: The Evrsoft company doesn't inspire confidence. The product support forum is little other than spam messages. I read comments elsewhere that people who attempted to purchase the full program had trouble getting their license keys. I'll stick with the freebie version.

"I feel like a little kid in a candy store! 1st Page 2006 is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: I love all of the features in this product, the following being but a few :
1. Instantz Scrips - Embed premade scripts right into your web page
2. Easy GUI - Great gui, a baby could navigate through it
3. All around Support - Supports embedding Java, CFML, PHP, ASP, SSI, Flash, Shockwave, and more!
4. Smart tags - For ex, typing in "img src=", and you can click on a popup dialog box that lets you find the image on your hard drive! Works with all tags!
5. Wysiwig - What you see is what you get!
6. Instant Previews! - Write the Html, and click preview to see it instantaneously previewed
These are but a FEW of MANY MANY features that this excellent program has.
Cons: A few features are turned off until you buy the program (The program is free, but does not come originally with scripts, etc.) I will still say this program is better than any other free html editor out there such as coffeecup, notepad, arachnophilia, etc.

"Good product - but purchase-proof!"
Pros: The visual editing is convenient, as the cursor is synchronized in both text editor and preview pane.
Cons: Warning! no one has managed to buy this program! the company is unreachable. They publishe a wrong telephone number and do not respond on the web. Attempts to buy usually end up in refund from the e-commerce agent 2CO. See threads at the Evrsoft developer forum.
