Filseclab Personal Firewall Professional Edition
Great protection...and it's FREE!
Pros: Filseclab Personal Firewall is the best free firewall on the market in my opinion. In fact I think it is as good as any of the paid ones also. It blocks all unwanted intrusions and will ask you about safe ones the first time they try to enter the internet. I recommend you try Filseclab and I give it 5 stars and two thumbs up!
Cons: For some reason Microsoft Security Center, which is on all XP SP2 pcs, doesn't recognize this firewall and will put that annoying red security emblem in your system tray telling you that you have no firewall enabled. Hopefully this can be corrected soon, because you shouldn't run two firewalls and need to disable the windows firewall after you install Filseclab

Filseclab Personal Firewall Professional Edition
One of the best!!!
Pros: AgnitumOutpost/Free-Edition has been my favourite for a while, but this may change my mind. Filseclab may use a bit more ram than AO, but this was a lot easier to apply the rule-set. You can import rulesets, save current or restore the default-rules. This is now recognized by SecurityCentre and it can be set to automatically recognize Windows applications. Highly configurable for P2P and gamers and advanced rulesets. Definitely the most user-friendly firewall I've tested. Unless this fails, Outpost will stay on the back-burner as this one still gets up-dated. By the way, this can be updated at the website or automatically check per scheduling!!!
Cons: A little heavy on System Resources but better than most!!! No problems otherwise...
Filseclab Personal Firewall Professional Edition
Great Free Firewall. Highly recommended
Pros: The interface is pleasing to the eye.
Auto-updates are available.
Think this firewall is unique to others is its ability to recognise windows SP2 and other known programs running so you wun have to do some mad clicking to allow them to run after installation. Having this gives the noob user ease to recognise which are the safe programs.
Pass Firewall tests.
Its ease of use simply makes me love it ;p
Cons: Well, a queet ugly icon at the notification area? But thats hardly a con ;)
Filseclab Personal Firewall Professional Edition
Fantastic! all ports are "blocked" (stealth mode)! Thank You Goldengreeke!
Pros: I tested all the ports, online, against Sygate Security Scan and Symantec Security Check and it passed all the scans! All ports were blocked (stealth mode)! That is fantastic! The interface is very nice and it is free! Bjorn Lundahl, Gothenburg, Sweden

WOW..... a great Firewall... try it
Pros: This is a GREAT Firewall. I rank it up there along with Zone Alarm, and that is saying alot!!! Passed all leak tests and sports a very nice interface which is simple to use. You will have to do a few rule settings but overall this neat Firewall pretty much installs as a "set it and forget it" firewall.I am really impressed with the thought put into the fit and finish of this program.I have tried alot of other firewalls which most of them require you to have a degree from MIT to be able to configure them. Filseclab
Personal Firewall along with Zone Alarm has been ...for me at least... the easiest to configure and use Firewalls available.
If you have tried other Firewalls and have had compatibility issues, try this little jewel out. Can't beat the price and you just might be suprised that this could be the Firewall you were looking for.
Cons: Nothing... a great Firewall.
